Feet Placement
Your feet placement could be a variety of different things. First since I am a skeet rider, I will go over how to rise skeet. Riding skeet makes it easier to do tricks such as manuals and brake stalls. To ride skeet, you place your feet on the left and right side of the brake, with one foot at an angle so that most of it is on the deck. Your other foot will be the foot that you push forward with and it will just barely be on the side of the deck near the brake.
For natural footing, you point your feet directly right of the deck and place your feet in the middle of the deck right next to each other. Riding goofy is exactly the same except for your feet will be pointing left.
There are a few other styles of riding, which are very unusual, and usually not as effective as the three main types listed above.
